"Audley Enough" a native of New Orleans, was born during a Mardi Gras ball and has been festive ever since. She began writing her off-beat "Audley Enough" column as editor of her high school newspaper. She worked in editorial positions at Petersen Publishing Company in Los Angeles, the U.S. Jaycees Headquarters in Tulsa and the University of Tulsa. She has also worked in radio for KRAV in Tulsa and KPLM/KJJZ in Palm Springs. As a freelance writer, she continues to keep her finger on the pulse of social commentary with her bi-weekly humorous essays.

The Audley Enough essays represent weekly chronicles of current events written in Audley's satirical point of view from her Light House. Anyone who savors the savvy columns of Maureen Dowd of the New York Times and Ellen Goodman of the Boston Globe or enjoys the slightly jaded observations of Andy Rooney on 60 Minutes would appreciate the musings of Audley Enough.

Whether the topic is national politics, popular trends or offbeat news, Audley prepares her "dish" in a much lighter style than what's offered in the original recipe, hopefully making it a little more palatable. She believes it's healthy to be fed-up without being full of it.

The Audley Enough website welcomes friends, family and other like-minded folk, who subscribe to the philosophy that most of us need to lighten up and view our complex world at least a third less seriously. When you look out from The Light House, you'll definitely be above it all.

"Audley Enough" wishes to acknowledge Howie Richmond for his collaboration on the concept of this website.
